Arrival

Personally we recommend to arrive by car. Then you're mobile on-site and you can eventually connect the wedding with holidays or a long weekend.

If you travel from Germany to Hungary, there are many possibilities for sightseeing on the road, like Vienna or Bratislava.

Around Veszprém you've got the lake Balaton and many other attractions like castles or Spas (Héviz). And if you just drive a little bit further, you'll end up in the beautiful capital of Hungary, Budapest :)

Please note, that you need to pay motorway taxes in Austria and Hungary. You will need a vignette.

Otherwise, you can of course arrive by plane. Makes most sense, if you just stay over to the weekend. You should fly to Budapest. From here you have direct connections by bus & train to Veszprém.
